Please prioritize the motivation that leads you to join. You will need to click on the box next to the motivation option you want to choose and select a ranking number between (1) and (6), with 1 being most preferred and 6 being least preferred. You are required to select at least three out of the six options.
UfS can issue an AUB ID card for those who wish to have one and have signed the waiver.

Benefits of the ID: Easy campus access, Jafet Library access, and discounted membership rates at Charles Hostler Center (AUB GYM).
Since registration is online, the UfS team will be assigning a day for you to go to campus and complete your ID process.
As a participant in the Fall 2025 term at the American University of Beirut, University for Seniors Program, I do hereby acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in on-campus and off-campus activities organized by the University for Seniors starting September 16, 2024, and I hereby declare that my health and physical condition are adequate to meet the physical requirements of the activities. I hereby agree to follow the instructions and guidance of the AUB appointed instructor and/or activity supervisor. I understand that accidents and injuries can arise from participation in the University for Seniors activities; knowing the risks, nevertheless, I hereby agree to assume those risks and to hold harmless and indemnify AUB, its trustees, officers, employees, agents, instructors, guides, and other representatives from any and all claims for damages to persons or property caused by myself, and for any and all injuries sustained by me during the activities in the context of the Program. I hereby irrevocably waive any and all claims for damage, injury, bodily injury or property damage which I may have or which hereinafter may accrue to me against the entities and persons mentioned above, and hereby release and discharge them from any liability arising out of or connected in any way with my participation in the activities. It is further understood and agreed that this waiver, release and assumption of risks have been freely entered into and are to be binding on my heirs and assigns.
As a University for Seniors member, you will have access to campus during all UfS related activities and if you signed the waiver; however, AUB and the UfS, is not able to provide you with any form of insurance or medical coverage if accidents occur. We kindly ask you to have your own active insurance plan for such emergencies. Do you have an insurance plan that would cover medical coverage, this is important in case of an accident on AUB campus?
